PM Modi wrote an emotional blog for Ratan Tata, said- It is not easy to forget this pain.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has posted a post on social media platform X on Saturday morning. Remembering the late industrialist Ratan Tata, he has written an entire blog about him. The PM wrote, ‘Almost a month has passed since the last farewell to Ratan Tata ji. His contribution to the Indian industry will always be remembered and will continue to inspire all the countrymen. The PM said, ‘It has been one month since the death of Ratan Tata ji. On this day last month, when I got the news of his passing, I was preparing to leave for the ASEAN Summit. The pain of Ratan Tata ji going away from us is still in my mind. It is not easy to forget this pain. In the form of Ratan Tata ji, India has lost one of its great sons… an invaluable gem.
used to fulfill others’ dreams
Prime Minister Modi wrote in his blog, ‘Under his leadership, the Tata Group reached new heights by becoming a symbol of respect, honesty and reliability across the world. Despite this, he accepted his achievements with complete humility and ease. Openly supporting the dreams of others, helping others in fulfilling their dreams, this was one of the most wonderful qualities of Shri Ratan Tata.
brought the best quality products
The PM further wrote, ‘Ratan Tata ji always laid emphasis on best quality products…best quality service and showed the way for Indian enterprises to set global benchmarks. Today, when India is moving towards the goal of development by 2047, we can hoist our flag in the world only by setting global benchmarks. Ratan Tata ji’s life is a reminder that leadership is measured not just by achievements, but also by its ability to care for the most vulnerable.
We worked together in Gujarat
PM Modi further wrote, ‘Personally, I had the privilege of knowing him very closely over the last few decades. We worked together in Gujarat. Large scale investments were made there by his companies. These included many such projects about which he was very passionate. When I joined the Central Government, our close interactions continued and he remained a committed partner in our nation-building efforts. Shri Ratan Tata’s enthusiasm towards the Swachh Bharat Mission particularly touched my heart. He was a vocal supporter of this mass movement.
fight against cancer
The PM wrote, ‘The fight against cancer was another goal that was close to his heart. I remember the event in Assam two years ago, where we jointly inaugurated various cancer hospitals in the state. Just a few weeks ago, I was in Vadodara with the President of the Government of Spain, Mr. Pedro Sanchez, and we jointly inaugurated an aircraft factory. C-295 aircraft will be made in India in this factory. It was Mr. Ratan Tata who started the work on this. At that time I felt the absence of Shri Ratan Tata a lot.
